Workplace Experience Lead

About the role

Clay is looking for a Workplace Experience Lead to own and elevate every aspect of its flagship 160,000 sq ft New York headquarters. You will create a world‑class environment that enables the team to do their best work while reinforcing Clay’s unique culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all workplace operations for the HQ, including facilities management, space planning, vendor relationships and budget oversight.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, access‑control and building‑maintenance systems.
• Manage large‑scale office moves, seating assignments and future space‑utilisation strategies for 250+ employees.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service‑level excellence with landlords, cleaning, catering and security partners.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety, ADA requirements and emergency‑preparedness plans.
• Partner with the broader workplace team to design and execute culture‑building events and innovative office experiences.

Required profile

• 4+ years of workplace/facilities experience leading an office of 250+ people.
• Proven success managing large‑scale office relocations or moves.
• Deep experience with facilities operations in 100,000+ sq ft spaces.
• Strategic thinker with strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and service‑oriented mindset.
