Workplace Design Manager – Portfolio Management

About the role

Netflix is looking for a senior Workplace Design Manager to lead the design of commercial interior spaces across its global portfolio. The role combines space planning, interior design, environmental graphics, and styling to create workplaces that reflect Netflix’s culture and brand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Portfolio Management team to understand program requirements, test‑fit, and local needs.
• Onboard and lead external design teams through visioning, concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation phases.
• Coordinate with space and occupancy partners to ensure designs meet business and program goals.
• Maintain schedule, budget, and alignment with Netflix culture, brand values, and aesthetic guidelines.
• Facilitate value‑engineering discussions to control costs while preserving design intent.
• Conduct regular construction administration meetings to review progress and address issues.
• Review and approve furniture selections, leveraging knowledge of vendors and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end commercial interior design projects, from space planning to construction administration.
• Strong ability to lead both internal and external design teams and manage multiple global projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trust with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the capacity to simplify complex problems.
