Workday Technical – Extend Consultant

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Workday Technical – Extend Consultant to join its Delivery team in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on designing, building, and supporting extensions and integrations on the Workday platform for enterprise clients. You will work closely with customers to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Design solution architecture, contribute to technical frameworks, and create integration strategies based on proof‑of‑concept validation.
• Develop and maintain Workday Extend objects, Studio integrations, EIBs, Core Connectors, and custom reports.
• Provide knowledge transfer, support build and deployment automation, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Analyze system performance, identify risks, and produce architectural artifacts for the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyze, design, and develop scalable and secure Workday architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies and recommending optimal solutions.
• Proactive communication with internal teams and clients to align technical delivery with business objectives.
• Commitment to staying current with technical advancements in the Workday ecosystem.
