Women's Services RN – Per Diem (Days)

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Women’s Services unit on a per‑diem, days‑only schedule. The RN will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care to labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn patients, working under physician direction and adhering to Arizona nursing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care aimed at preventing healthcare‑acquired conditions and reducing hospital readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Coordinate nursing personnel, ensure compliance with the nursing process, and contribute to patient satisfaction and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Nursing Diploma program.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state license) and current BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain unit‑specific certifications within the required time frames (e.g., NRP, ACLS, PALS).

Required skills

• Basic EKG competency.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. program completion.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitor Course (basic and intermediate).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) training.
• De‑escalation techniques.
