Windchill Solution Architect

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Windchill Solution Architect to join its Engineering unit in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on delivering advanced PLM solutions, leveraging data‑first engineering practices and emerging technologies to accelerate product development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture system and technical requirements.
• Evaluate design alternatives using advanced engineering tools and develop detailed design concepts.
• Develop and assess prototypes, incorporating testing feedback to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Create specialized solution specifications and conduct rigorous testing to meet performance criteria.
• Drive integration projects, solving complex technical challenges and enhancing system functionality.
• Optimize system performance through tuning and reliability improvements.
• Facilitate training and knowledge‑transfer sessions for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong background in engineering consulting or senior project management within the US market.
• Proven ability to innovate, adapt to new technologies, and solve complex engineering problems.
• Experience managing prototyping cycles and leading testing initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer.
