Welding/Brazing Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Manufacturing Engineering role for industry‑leading MRI technology, providing production support for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets. The position works closely with production management, quality, design, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians, offering a chance to develop a broad set of engineering skills in a medical‑device environment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in medical‑device production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering (or related field).
• Self‑motivated with strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of welding and brazing technologies, including induction brazing, TIG and MIG processes.
• Tooling and fixture design for welding/brazing applications.
• Automation of welding/brazing processes.
• Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Process validation documentation (PFMEA, IQ, TMV, OQ/PQ) and statistical analysis of process data.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) on mechanical drawings.
