About the role

Westmor Industries is looking for a skilled welder to join its manufacturing team in Morris, MN. The role involves performing a variety of welding tasks while adhering to safety standards and maintaining an organized workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and dimension styles.
• Prepare weld surfaces and set up appropriate welder settings.
• Perform welding operations in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.
• Follow safe operating procedures for overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Willingness to be trained and to follow a planned schedule.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with fellow employees.
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the position and a willingness to help where needed.
