About the role
Join a high‑speed brewery production environment as a Weekend Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical). You will work alongside production teams to keep equipment reliable during weekend and holiday shifts, supporting the plant’s quality and output goals.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders and provide mechanical maintenance on 480‑V, 3‑phase equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot, disassemble, overhaul gearboxes, replace bearings, bushings, chains, valves, pumps and perform hydraulic and lubrication tasks.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment, including ControlLogix, PLC5 and Siemens PCS7 systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals, and use SAP to document corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, process analysis and plant safety compliance.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED; 2 + years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience (or a related technical degree).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work autonomously or in a team.
- Knowledge of process controls, instrumentation calibration, servos, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist and lift items up to 50 lb; willingness to work varying weekend shifts.
- Experience with safety procedures such as lock‑out/tag‑out and confined‑space entry.
Required skills
- PLC programming and troubleshooting (ControlLogix, PLC5, Siemens PCS7).
- Drive installation, maintenance and parameterization (Siemens MM4, Allen Bradley).
- SAP and CMMS usage for maintenance tracking.
- Mechanical maintenance skills: bearing, gearbox, valve, pump and hydraulic system repair.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to read electrical schematics.
