Web Developer – Shopify & E‑commerce Specialist

About the role

DTLR, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Web Developer with strong front‑end and back‑end expertise to enhance and maintain its e‑commerce platform. The role focuses on translating business needs into client‑friendly features that expand the website’s industry influence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Shopify‑based e‑commerce website and related email campaigns.
• Extend and optimise site functionality, UI, and navigation.
• Integrate third‑party applications and REST APIs with the e‑commerce platform.
• Create internal software solutions based on department requirements.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to implement Adobe designs, promote discounts, and set up analytics events.
• Scope work independently, meet objectives, and stay current with technology trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high‑quality code.

Required skills

• Shopify platform (themes, discounts, CLI, plugins, sales channels)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS, Liquid, jQuery
• Version control (Git) and ticketing systems (Jira)
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD
• REST API integration and ADA compliance
• Responsive design implementation
• E‑commerce experience, Shopify GraphQL, app development (Remix, Polaris, React, Preact, Rust)
• Marketing tools (Klaviyo), SEO optimisation, Google Analytics
• Database knowledge (MySQL) and AI platforms (Claude or similar)
