Web Developer – Joomla (Intelligence Community)

About the role

Kavaliro is looking for a skilled Web Developer with deep Joomla expertise to support a high‑impact program within the Intelligence Community. You will own the full website lifecycle, from planning and design through development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance, working independently in a small, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end website planning, architecture, and development.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Joomla‑based websites.
• Write and maintain custom code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement and manage SEO best practices to improve visibility and performance.
• Focus on user experience (UX) and intuitive design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored web solutions.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Proven experience developing and administering Joomla sites.
• Strong background in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience creating custom code and website customizations.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and implementation.
• Ability to work independently as a solo developer within a small team.
