Waste Water Equipment Operator

About the role

The Waste Water Equipment Operator is responsible for the 24/7 operation of wastewater processing equipment at a busy airport. The role supports site safety, environmental compliance, and efficient use of facilities, equipment, and labor.

Key responsibilities

• Model and promote a strong safety culture, encouraging open reporting and shared responsibility.
• Follow all safety policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a healthy work environment.
• Support Inland Group’s environmental commitments by limiting ecological impact.
• Adhere to procedural handbooks, operational plans, and management directives.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, permits, and confined‑space entry requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, repair, and support wastewater processing equipment and related facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an airport background security check.
• Successful completion of classroom and on‑the‑job training.
• Intermediate computer skills and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Physical ability to operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weather, stand or sit for extended periods, climb catwalks, lift up to 50 lb, and work at heights up to 15 ft.
