Vice President, Structured Finance – Infrastructure

About the role

The Vice President of Structured Finance – Infrastructure will lead the origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated bank loans across multiple segments. This senior position partners with relationship managers and senior executives to drive revenue and manage risk for the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Execute origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated bank loans, serving as a product specialist across investment grade, non‑investment grade, middle market, commercial real estate and asset‑based finance.
• Develop and deepen relationships with senior executives at existing clients and target prospects to generate revenue and improve risk‑adjusted returns.
• Maintain relationships with participating lenders to ensure market demand for syndicated loans.
• Oversee underwriting and transaction due diligence for potential deals.
• Partner with Relationship Managers on new business development opportunities.
• Lead and mentor junior staff from financial, operational, competitive and industry perspectives.
• Support senior management on strategic initiatives related to syndicated loans.
• Participate in joint calling efforts with bankers to uncover loan opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of business development, product specialist management, or related experience.
• Proven track record of successfully executing syndicated loan transactions.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work remotely, travel as needed, and influence complex initiatives.
