Vice President, Revenue Operations

About the role

buspatrol is looking for a Vice President of Revenue Operations to bring discipline, visibility, and decision support to a complex public‑sector buying process. This senior leader will own the systems, processes, and analytics that drive forecast quality, pipeline transparency, and data‑driven sales enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end forecasting model, quality KPIs and pipeline inspection cadence with sales leadership.
• Define stage entry/exit criteria, stakeholder mapping, and encode procurement paths into Salesforce reporting.
• Translate data into field direction, setting engagement SLAs and building activity‑to‑outcome analytics.
• Manage core sales operations: Salesforce configuration, sales tech stack, dashboards, and territory/segment views.
• Develop data‑informed enablement plays, rep training, and performance gap analysis.
• Design and administer sales compensation plans, quota setting, capacity modeling, and revenue reporting for executives and the board.

Required profile

• 12+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or strategic sales leadership within B2G, GovTech, or regulated multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Proven track record building forecast and pipeline discipline in complex, non‑linear public‑sector sales cycles.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Legal, and cross‑functional teams on compensation, planning, and compliance.
• Excellent executive communication and measurable‑outcome focus.
