Vice President of Human Resources

About the role

Es Vedra Cinemas is seeking a strategic leader to head its Human Resources function. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Human Resources will shape HR policies, drive operational consistency, and ensure compliance across all locations while delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HR department, establishing clear priorities, processes, and accountability.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and compliance standards.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across all sites.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, development, and separation.
• Provide leadership for Talent Acquisition, Training, Payroll & Benefits, Risk Management, and HR Operations.
• Standardize investigations, corrective actions, leaves, accommodations, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
• Guarantee accurate and compliant payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and wage‑hour processes.
• Build scalable HR systems to improve efficiency and the manager‑employee experience.
• Develop HR metrics, audits, and reporting to identify trends and mitigate risk.
• Partner with the CEO on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and succession planning.
• Leverage HR technology and automation to streamline service delivery.
• Lead and develop the HR team, fostering strong cross‑functional partnerships.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience leading multiple HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Training, Payroll & Benefits, Risk Management, and HR Operations.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable HR processes and drive organizational change.
• Strong partnership skills with executive leadership and operational teams.
