Vice President of Finance

About the role

Patch is building an AI‑native platform that simplifies environmental commodity markets. As Vice President of Finance you will partner directly with the CEO & Founder, overseeing finance and legal functions across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial operations including FP&A, treasury, cash and FX management, revenue recognition, month‑end close, audit and internal controls across roughly ten currencies.
• Develop and maintain the financial model used by the Board, lenders and senior leadership.
• Own legal and regulatory matters in the US, UK and EU, managing commercial contracts, corporate governance, entity administration and outside counsel relationships.
• Drive M&A activities: source targets, conduct diligence, structure deals and integrate acquisitions.
• Design a finance function that leverages AI, scaling the team’s impact threefold.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments.
• Strong understanding of commodity‑related transactions and settlement processes.
• Experience navigating legal and regulatory frameworks across the US, UK and EU.
• Track record of leading M&A from sourcing to integration.
