Vice President of Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Vice President of Finance to lead the financial engine of Flooret, the largest digital flooring brand in the United States. This senior position will own accounting, reporting, cash management, tax and compliance while driving strategic initiatives that improve unit economics and profitability as we scale across DTC, retail, marketplaces and commercial channels.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting and controllership, ensuring GL integrity, timely month‑end close, AP/AR processing and US GAAP‑aligned reporting.
• Produce internal and board‑grade financial statements, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports that are clean, consistent and decision‑ready.
• Manage cash and treasury functions, including banking relationships, credit facilities, working‑capital planning and inventory‑heavy cash flow optimization.
• Direct tax and compliance activities such as multi‑state sales tax, income‑tax coordination, state registrations, licensing, 1099 filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities, sharpen unit economics, and unlock profitability as the business expands.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team, establishing systems, controls and a culture of accountability.
