Vice President, Business Development – Spirits

About the role

This senior position leads the development of sales and marketing capabilities for BBG’s spirits portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the Vice President will shape short‑ and long‑term strategies that enhance BBG’s relationships with wine, spirits and beer suppliers, driving growth across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop collaborative relationships with BBG Regional Presidents, General Managers and Business Managers to align supplier vision, portfolio and brand strategies.
• Drive expansion of supplier relationships into new BBG markets and identify opportunities for resource efficiency and investment.
• Negotiate and coordinate supplier marketing initiatives, including product launches, test markets, strategic research and field‑testing.
• Identify consumer and customer growth drivers, monitor trends and competitive activity, and propose rapid solutions.
• Manage the supplier sales and marketing calendar to ensure optimal alignment and synergistic programming.
• Partner with supplier agencies for seamless 360‑degree activation across BBG markets.
• Collaborate with BBG’s Commercial Excellence Team and local trade resources to develop consistent marketing materials.
• Evaluate qualitative performance, share best practices and create cross‑portfolio growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑market sales experience in the beverage or spirits industry.
• Deep understanding of market‑level differences and ability to drive consistent execution across regions.
• Strong capability to build and maintain partnerships with supplier teams across sales, marketing, finance, digital and PR functions.
• Experience negotiating and coordinating supplier marketing initiatives such as product launches and consumer research.
