Vice President, Business Development, Global Business Platforms

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President to lead Business Development for its Global Business Platforms. The leader will shape strategic partnerships with technology, commerce and finance companies, driving innovative payment solutions that empower businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team focused on a segment of Global Business Platforms.
• Identify, structure and secure high‑value partnerships that enhance payment acceptance, card issuing, stablecoins, digital assets, cybersecurity tools and analytics.
• Build trusted senior‑executive relationships both internally and externally to align on partnership goals.
• Deepen and expand customer relationships across global platforms, creating joint value opportunities.
• Embed Mastercard products and services within partner ecosystems to deliver complementary value.
• Collaborate with Mastercard product and services groups to inform roadmaps and address market needs.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, consultative environment.
• Proven strategic leadership experience in business development and partnership management.
• Strong track record of driving commercial success at a senior level.
