VC Partnerships Manager

About the role

We are looking for a VC Partnerships Claymate to turn Clay's investor network into a meaningful pipeline and relationship‑building channel. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will work cross‑functionally with Sales, Growth Strategy, Marketing and Partnerships to generate new pipeline, accelerate deals and deepen executive relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and activate our investor network, owning relationships with existing and prospective investors and turning them into a revenue‑generating channel.
• Build net‑new pipeline by meeting regularly with investors, understanding their portfolios and collaborating with sales to prioritize accounts for introductions.
• Partner with Growth Strategy to leverage investors for introductions to senior executives at current customers, strengthening those relationships.
• Develop scalable systems and playbooks for investor‑sourced intros, including prioritization, note‑writing, tracking and reporting as the GTM team grows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in partnerships, VC platforms, investor relations or a similar role.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships with investors, executives and individual contributors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a talent for crafting personalized outreach.
• Process‑oriented mindset, building systems for tracking, reporting and follow‑through.
• Familiarity with using AI tools in daily workflow to automate processes.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments where priorities shift.
