Valet Manager – Full-Time

About the role

The Valet Manager oversees parking services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in St. Louis, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient vehicle handling for VIP and veteran customers. The role includes supervising valet staff, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high‑quality customer service without requiring prior valet experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and publish weekly work schedules for the Assistant Manager and valet attendants, guaranteeing full staffing each shift.
• Monitor daily valet operations, confirm coverage, and manage overflow to meet contract performance.
• Resolve parking area conflicts, congestion, and customer service issues promptly.
• Maintain and enforce safety regulations, policies, and procedures for valet services.
• Document parking violations, incidents, and report them to VA Police, local law enforcement, and the Program Manager.
• Inspect valet areas for hazards, maintenance needs, and coordinate snow removal with VAMC contacts.
• Act as a greeter, verify eligibility for valet services, and provide directions to customers.
• Prepare and submit monthly valet usage reports, including vehicle counts, incidents, and invoicing details.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of management and leadership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean, incident‑free driving record.
