Utilities Maintenance Technician with $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Join Nestlé USA as a Utilities Maintenance Technician responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of plant utility systems, including refrigeration, steam, hot water, glycol, HVAC, fire protection, and compressed air. The role also supports critical packaging and production maintenance and requires 24/7 on‑call availability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia/CO₂ refrigeration, steam and hot‑water boilers, glycol, HVAC, fire protection, and compressed‑air systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on refrigeration components such as valves, pumps, electrical controls, and compressors.
• Complete required documentation for regulatory agencies and Nestlé internal policies.
• Collaborate with contractors and respond to emergency maintenance situations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; RETA and CIRO certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass a physical capacity evaluation and obtain NH3 certification within two years.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (Sunday‑Thursday, 3rd‑11 pm‑7:30 am) and be on call 24/7.
• Strong comprehension of safety guidelines and ability to follow written procedures.
