Urban Gardener

About the role

John Mini Distinctive Landscapes is seeking an Urban Gardener to deliver high‑quality landscape services for prestigious client sites across the New York City area. You will work on both indoor and outdoor projects, ensuring that each space looks beautiful and remains well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain plants, lawns, and decorative elements at client locations.
• Perform pest control, fertilization, edging, and seasonal clean‑up.
• Prune and shear trees and shrubs to maintain health and aesthetics.
• Operate work vans or box trucks (non‑CDL) to transport equipment and materials.
• Adapt to seasonal workload fluctuations, including occasional Saturdays and overtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with landscape tasks.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive work vans/box trucks is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on seasonal demand.
• Strong interest in building a long‑term career in landscaping.
