Underwriting Specialist / Executive Underwriter – Multinational

About the role

Zurich is seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter to join its Multinational team in New York City. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and focuses on Multinational Property and Casualty accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new and renewal Multinational Property and Casualty accounts.
• Maintain market‑facing presence, generating business and building broker relationships in the East Region.
• Administer underwriting rules, insurance laws, regulations and rating manual guidelines.
• Work within broad limits on highly complex assignments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant underwriting or claims experience (minimum 3‑10 years depending on level).
• Knowledge of line of business, legal and regulatory guidelines, and time restraints for quotes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
