Undergraduate IT Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

The Undergraduate IT Intern position at 3M is a full‑time, 10‑12 week internship slated to begin in Summer 2027. Interns collaborate with innovative 3Mers worldwide, work on real‑world technical and business projects, and receive a housing and transportation stipend in accordance with company policy.

Key responsibilities

• Address relevant business concerns through individual and team‑oriented projects.
• Support data and analytics initiatives, including data engineering, integration, quality, data science, and AI.
• Assist Enterprise Applications teams on SAP and legacy ERP systems, contributing to optimized user experiences.
• Contribute to Infrastructure Services by working with on‑premise and cloud technologies, enhancing platform performance and reliability.
• Develop technical, communication, and leadership skills through mentorship and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduating before or in 2027.
• Available to work full‑time for a 10‑12 week period.
• Eligible for 3M’s housing and transportation stipend.
• Curious, collaborative, and able to contribute to both technical and business discussions.
