About the role
The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a full‑time Trial Court Clerk II to support the 4th Judicial District in Osage County. This clerical role provides essential administrative services to judges, attorneys, law‑enforcement agencies, and the public.
Key responsibilities
- Receipt, filing, and electronic filing of court documents.
- Scanning and imaging of records, and data entry into court systems.
- Receipting monies, setting hearings, and maintaining court calendars.
- Providing customer service and information to judiciary, attorneys, law‑enforcement, state agencies, and the public.
- Cross‑training in multiple district‑court functions as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of clerical experience.
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and practices.
- Ability to undergo a criminal background check, drug test, and obtain a Tax Clearance Certificate.
Required skills
- Computer operation.
- Electronic filing systems.
- Scanning and imaging equipment.
- Data entry.

- Starting wage of $18.57 per hour, increasing to $19.04 after six months and $20.47 after one year of satisfactory performance.
