Travel Coordinator

About the role

SafeRide Health is looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Travel Coordinator to join its Travel Operations team. You will manage end‑to‑end travel logistics for members seeking medical care, acting as the primary point of contact for members, health plans, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange flights, ground transportation, lodging, and meal reimbursements tailored to members’ medical needs.
• Verify health‑plan travel authorizations, obtain pre‑approvals, and confirm details with medical facilities.
• Communicate travel details, reimbursement processes, and authorizations clearly and compassionately.
• Build and maintain relationships with lodging, transportation, and meal service providers.
• Track costs, monitor reimbursements, and keep accurate records in line with compliance requirements.
• Meet departmental performance standards while delivering high‑quality service.
• Adapt to schedule changes and unforeseen circumstances, keeping members’ needs first.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in travel coordination or a similar logistics role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high‑volume inbound call‑center or customer‑service environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and emotional‑intelligence skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with health plans, vendors, and internal teams.
