Transportation & Valet Attendant

About the role

The Valet position is the first and last point of contact for members and guests at Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club. You will create positive, lasting impressions while assisting with parking and driving transit vans to transport passengers onsite or to off‑site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing members and guests promptly and courteously.
• Park and retrieve vehicles or golf carts safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Drive light and heavy passenger vans or buses to airports, off‑site housing, entertainment venues, and other locations.
• Maintain clean transportation shuttles and company vehicles, performing basic cleaning and inspections of tires, brakes, lights, oil, fuel, and safety equipment.
• Provide member assistance such as directions, baggage handling, wheelchair loading/unloading, and delivery of belongings.
• Prepare and submit reports on passenger trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and hours worked.
• Follow local traffic laws, department policies, and safety regulations.
• Monitor staff transportation schedules and attend department meetings and trainings.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (or international equivalent) with a clean driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least six months of guest‑service experience in a high‑volume environment such as a restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb, and to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
