Transportation Examiner – CPI Claims

About the role

Davies North America is seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Claims Examiner to manage and process GAP insurance claims with precision and professionalism. The role involves close collaboration with customers, agents, underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize software platforms such as AS400, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, ISO, CARFAX, Winloan, and Claimtrak to perform daily claim processing tasks.
• Gather and prepare documentation, analyze loan transaction histories, and review waivers to determine coverage eligibility and calculate claim amounts.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and all parties involved, documenting correspondence in AS400 and monitoring pending claims.
• Use auto valuation tools (CCCOne, Mitchell, Autosource, Kelley Blue Book) to assess vehicle values and meet departmental quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in auto adjusting, preferably with GAP and Collateral Protection insurance.
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision‑making abilities with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
