Transmission Line Engineering Consultant – Grid Projects

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to lead the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects, coordinating with internal and external teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project execution, contract administration, planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure project performance on safety, schedule, budget and client satisfaction.
• Direct and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering accountability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client functional leads and stakeholders.
• Identify, track and control construction risk, change orders and schedule variances.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and dashboards for key performance indicators.
• Analyze issues and propose solutions to improve project outcomes.

Required profile

• BS degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program or a management/business degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry.
• 7+ years of project management experience on utility transmission projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and act as a firm/client liaison.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment.
