Trainee Audiology Practitioner – Entry Level Role

About the role

Join Specsavers as a Trainee Audiology Practitioner in Boston, East Midlands. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in audiology while providing excellent customer service and administrative support within our Hearcare store.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and act as the first point of contact for the audiology clinic.
• Manage clinic administration and scheduling in line with patient needs.
• Assist with clinical activities after completing training, including hearing assessments and patient pathways.
• Perform repair and rehabilitation of audiology equipment.
• Carry out wax removal using microsuction techniques.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about learning audiology and progressing in the hear‑care sector.
• Previous experience in healthcare, retail or a customer‑facing role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Competitive hourly rate up to £12.91.
• Part‑time schedule: 4 days a week, 34 hours total (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:30 pm).
