Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Test Engineer to execute real‑time testing of developmental turreted weapon systems and mission configurations for Moog’s Santa Barbara operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute real‑time testing of turreted weapon systems and various mission configurations.
• Develop test methods based on system requirements and document findings.
• Generate reports detailing test results and evaluate system designs across engineering disciplines.
• Verify system‑level performance and recommend approaches for specific applications.
• Interpret customer specifications and travel up to 25% as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in system development, integration or test within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high motivation to learn.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and access export‑controlled information.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for mission requirements.

Required skills

• MATLAB/Simulink expertise.
• Turret fire control systems design, integration, and test experience.
