Temporary Senior Maintenance Supervisor (90‑day)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Temporary Senior Maintenance Supervisor for Soma Towers in Bellevue, Washington. This 90‑day position covers a leave of absence and is responsible for overseeing all technical and mechanical work across the property to ensure safety, appearance, and functionality while meeting budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate outside vendors, track warranties, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Develop and enforce standards for cleanliness, appearance, and overall property condition.
• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and delegate resident service requests.
• Assist in budgeting for regular repairs, maintenance, and capital expenses.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, and vendor scheduling.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools while supporting cost‑cutting initiatives.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Proven knowledge of hot‑water heater repair, carpentry, and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and property‑management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
