Temporary Royalty Administrator (Remote, US East Coast Hours)

About the role

We are a leading media organization seeking a detail‑oriented Temporary Royalty Administrator to manage contract data, drive quarterly reporting, and ensure accurate royalty payments. This fully remote position operates on US East Coast business hours and requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain royalty contract and payment terms in rights and royalty systems.
• Oversee quarterly reporting, calculate payments, and distribute statements to meet contractual deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing or reporting errors efficiently.
• Track and manage tasks using cross‑functional ticketing tools such as Jira.
• Facilitate vendor setup across accounting and royalty platforms.
• Serve as primary liaison for internal and external royalty/payment inquiries.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in intellectual property, media, or publishing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong contract‑reading ability, excellent organization, and analytical focus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with RightsLine (mandatory); Alliant or Vistex are a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
