Temporary Assistant Community Manager – Mira Vista Hills

About the role

This temporary, full‑time position supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a 280‑unit garden‑style community. You will handle daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and use property‑management software to maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with vendors and owners.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring data integrity through accurate entry and regular backups.
• Communicate with residents about delinquent balances, enforce lease terms, and manage evictions and move‑out processes.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence, delegating tasks and coordinating maintenance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in property or residence‑life management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail‑oriented work style.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 20 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.).
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
