About the role

Infosys is looking for a Telecom OSS Java Microservices Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role focuses on delivering product‑centric engineering solutions for telecom OSS/BSS platforms, leveraging Java, cloud and container technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Document and elicit business requirements for assigned components.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture design decisions for software solutions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features into existing Java microservices while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and apply changes to the codebase.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth application rollout.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Capability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
