Technology & AI Adoption Specialist – Operations

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Technology & AI Adoption Specialist – Operations to accelerate AI integration across its global operations. You will partner with functional teams to identify, pilot, and scale high‑impact AI use cases that improve efficiency and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage a structured pipeline of AI opportunities across departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and HR.
• Define clear problem statements, requirements, and expected ROI for each use case.
• Coordinate intake, prioritization, and progress tracking with technical development teams.
• Map current‑state workflows, create developer‑ready artifacts (user stories, process diagrams), and co‑design solutions with end users.
• Monitor performance against success criteria (efficiency gains, time saved, adoption rates) and report bottlenecks and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for humanitarian impact.
• Experience working cross‑functionally to translate operational needs into technical specifications.
• Strong project management skills to oversee pipelines from intake through scale.
