Technical Writer – Service Documentation

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer to produce clear, concise service documentation for its autonomous surface vessels. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into user‑friendly manuals and support materials.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather technical specifications.
• Create and maintain service manuals, work instructions, and support documentation.
• Develop scalable writing processes and documentation strategies.
• Translate complex hardware and software concepts into accessible content for end‑users.
• Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and DoD regulations.
• Review, edit, and proofread documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Plan, track, and coordinate documentation projects across teams to meet deadlines.
• Continuously update existing materials based on user and stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology‑driven or defense environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality output.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
