About the role

Nestlé USA is seeking a Maintenance Technical Trainer to design and deliver high‑quality technical training for manufacturing staff. The role blends hands‑on maintenance expertise with coaching skills to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs, including upskilling, apprenticeship, and maintenance trainee courses.
• Facilitate classroom, hands‑on, and virtual sessions while tracking employee progress.
• Coach operators and production teams on equipment operation and basic maintenance skills.
• Support safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and participate in continuous‑improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate training records and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to keep content current.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical training/maintenance experience.
• Prior experience as a technical trainer or in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
• Ability to obtain tow‑motor and scissor‑lift certifications.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, lift up to 40 lb regularly (up to 75 lb occasionally).

Required skills

• Experience with learning systems such as Poka and iLearn.
• Familiarity with MES/Globe manufacturing execution systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
