Technical Support Engineer – AI Compute Platform

About the role

TensorWave is building a level‑2 technical support team to serve AI companies running large‑scale GPU training and inference workloads. As a Technical Support Engineer you will diagnose complex issues across Linux hosts, Kubernetes clusters, Slurm schedulers and high‑performance storage, providing clear explanations to highly technical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own level‑2 tickets escalated from the global operations center and drive them to resolution or a well‑documented handoff.
• Diagnose problems across the full stack: Linux hosts, GPU health, Kubernetes workloads, Slurm scheduling, Weka and Vast storage, and high‑speed networking.
• Investigate degraded training or inference jobs using logs, metrics and cluster telemetry, and communicate findings to customers.
• Tri­age hardware faults, coordinate RMAs and work with data‑center operations on remediation.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams via calls and written updates.
• Write and maintain runbooks and knowledge‑base articles to enable level‑1 resolution.
• Develop diagnostic scripts and small tools to accelerate investigations.

• Ability to contribute to process definition, escalation paths and tooling for a new support tier.
