Technical Specialist – Chemistry and Analytics

About the role

Provide technical, client and business line support to the Americas region and global business line for technical services, strategy, new product development and regulatory related services. Actively seek new product opportunities, monitor industry standards and ensure technical leadership across consumer products services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and provide technical insight to clients and colleagues.
• Develop and update internal SOPs, methods and work instructions for assigned service lines.
• Respond to technical inquiries promptly and deliver training sessions across the Americas.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update testing methodologies to ensure compliance.
• Support resolution of technical issues and contribute to global process improvements.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of analytical chemistry and related regulatory standards.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and travel up to 20% within the USA.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s a plus) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Analytical Chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
• Statistical procedures and data analysis.
• Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes proficiency.
• Use of statistical software packages.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and methods.
