Technical Service Specialist – Auto OEM

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our sales team in Casa Grande, AZ. The specialist leads and coordinates technical, purchasing, inventory, project and reporting activities on‑site, while responding to customer needs and complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and manage daily on‑site inventories, walk pretreatment lines and check bulk storage areas to ensure timely product ordering.
• Perform visual inspections of units in the pretreatment system, track body defects and conduct trials to resolve issues.
• Gather daily data (titrations, inventories) and produce regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Process panels through the pretreatment system for visual inspection and laboratory submission, including bath sample collection.
• Coordinate test projects, system clean‑ups during non‑production periods, and implement pretreatment process changes.
• Recommend actions to improve chemical performance, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, projects and technical information.
• Develop relationships with plant contacts, identify new business opportunities and support operator training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred; high‑school diploma with relevant experience also considered.
• Minimum one year of technical experience with pretreatment, coatings, surface treatment or metalworking applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for testing and technical evaluation.
• Excellent time‑management, organization and motivation.
