About the role
ETAP is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth for its SEE Solutions portfolio. The role blends deep electrical engineering knowledge with consultative selling to deliver intelligent software solutions to engineering and industrial customers.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage sales opportunities for SEE Solutions across assigned accounts and regions.
- Support the full sales cycle from discovery to close, including account and territory planning.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and respond to RFPs, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, deliver product demos, technical presentations, and proof‑of‑concepts.
- Map customer requirements to SEE capabilities, configurations, and licensing models.
- Address technical objections and position solutions against competitors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, pre‑sales, or application engineering for engineering software.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience selling or supporting CAD/E‑CAD or engineering design software.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable presenting to engineers, managers, and executive stakeholders.

- SEE Electrical or similar tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Electrical schematics and panel design.
- Industrial electrical systems.
