Technical Project Manager – Special Machinery & Automation

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of customized industrial automation and special‑purpose machinery. You will act as the main bridge between global engineering teams and customers, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept through commissioning and final acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and contractual commitments into clear project scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, critical‑path milestones and resource plans using standard project‑management tools.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early and implement mitigation actions to meet on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Lead on‑site installation, commissioning and final acceptance at customer facilities.
• Direct multidisciplinary international teams (mechanical, electrical, software) across Bosch locations.
• Act as General Contractor, sourcing machinery and subsystems globally and managing their integration and delivery in the US.
• Foster collaboration between engineering hubs, third‑party suppliers and local US execution teams.
• Serve as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, building strong technical and executive relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex industrial automation or special‑machinery projects from concept to handover.
• Strong ability to coordinate international, cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling and quality standards in an engineering environment.
