Technical Project Lead

About the role

As a Technical Project Lead in Bosch's cross‑functional Application and Device Engineering team, you will act as the primary technical liaison between our new SiC front‑end‑fabrication site in Roseville, CA and strategic customers across North America. You will support the customer acquisition phase, ensure smooth communication on technical aspects of silicon‑carbide (SiC) products, and help shape Bosch’s product and technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex customer projects from acquisition through specification to mass production, with a focus on SiC power transistors (chips and discretes).
• Serve as the technical point of contact for OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers, advising on integration of SiC components into applications such as traction inverters, charging systems, solar inverters, and industrial drives.
• Collect, analyse, and translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and product strategies.
• Provide proactive technical consulting, including selection, design‑in, and optimisation of circuits and systems using Bosch SiC components.
• Collaborate with internal product teams to feed market insights into Bosch’s internal product and technology roadmap.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical project management within the semiconductor or power‑electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of the global SiC market and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with strategic customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and coordinate resources across engineering, sales, and manufacturing.
