Technical Program Manager – Government Contracts

About the role

Radiant Industries is developing portable nuclear micro‑reactors and is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead its government contracts. The role will own end‑to‑end delivery of contract milestones, from technical development through site deployment, working closely with licensing, engineering, manufacturing and state‑engagement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive all contract milestones to successful completion, coordinating regulatory, engineering and siting activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison with contracting officers, program offices, installation personnel and end‑users.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and cost baselines, ensuring alignment across internal teams and subcontractors.
• Manage contract compliance, reporting, milestone billing and support negotiations for modifications or change orders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate programmatic risks and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Own financial performance, including budgeting, resource forecasting and cost tracking.
• Establish and refine project‑management processes, tools and reporting cadence for leadership visibility.
• Represent the customer’s perspective within Radiant to influence engineering and deployment decisions.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of program or project management experience, preferably with complex capital equipment or large‑scale industrial systems.
• Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. government programs and managing contract deliverables.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and navigate regulatory environments.
