About the role
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (E3) to lead cross‑functional execution of new product development programs from concept through launch readiness at Applied Materials.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end program execution for new product initiatives, guiding them through concept planning, development, validation, implementation and launch readiness.
- Drive programs through the phase‑gate product development process, ensuring alignment on milestones, deliverables, risks and key decisions.
- Build and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, dependencies and risk‑management strategies.
- Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality and business stakeholders to resolve issues and keep development on track.
- Track deliverables using dashboards, action‑item logs and reports, and communicate status, risks and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Monitor program cost performance and support progress against financial and operational objectives.
- Identify obstacles, analyze root causes and drive cross‑functional solutions.
Required profile
- Experience in technical program management or project management supporting complex product or technology development.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong skills in building and managing project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks and deliverables.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus across competing priorities.
- Experience with semiconductor industry or similarly complex new product development environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with phase‑gate product development processes.
