Technical Product Manager (AI) – Vault Medical

About the role

Make the work of our customers delivering life‑changing medicines more efficient. We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to design and deliver high‑value AI Agent solutions for Vault Medical, automating the content lifecycle from medical review to scientific publishing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, configure, and validate AI solutions rapidly to solve the right problems in the right order.
• Iterate on designs using agile methods and continuously improve the product.
• Author high‑quality specifications and translate them into actionable requirements for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build harmonized solutions across Veeva applications.
• Lead AI orchestration and design, focusing on data flow, RAG architectures, and complex prompt engineering.
• Identify high‑impact AI use cases in Medical Affairs workflows and define clear KPIs to demonstrate ROI.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise software product management, engineering, or consulting experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with AI/ML, specifically LLMs and Generative AI.
• Strong communication skills to translate AI concepts for legal, medical, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Based in the Eastern Standard Time zone and authorized to work in the USA or Canada.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Working with APIs for AI services.
• Data modeling (ERDs) and prompt engineering for regulated content.
