Technical Manager – Game Room Technician

About the role

Join Chuck E. Cheese’s technology team as a Technical Manager, responsible for keeping the game room’s arcade, kitchen, and stage equipment running smoothly. You’ll apply electro‑mechanical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of interactive attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and coin/ticket mechanisms.
• Manage arcade games, IT systems, and ticket dispensers.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective electronic boards, computers, and other components.
• Operate and maintain stage show equipment, including compressors, lighting, sound, pneumatics, valves, cylinders, and cosmetic elements.
• Maintain an inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools.
• Manage a budget for parts and services while ensuring a safety‑focused work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail, time‑management skills, and a sense of urgency.
• Military experience, a technical degree, or prior electrical/mechanical training is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old, able to work up to 45 hours per week, and possess a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
