Technical Enterprise Account Manager – Payments

About the role

As an Enterprise Technical Account Manager (TAM) you will build and maintain strategic relationships with key payment clients, resolve technical issues, optimise solutions and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact, nurturing long‑term client relationships.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, drive adoption of Checkout.com products and lead technical migrations.
• Provide expert troubleshooting, guide integrations and ensure minimal disruption to payment flows.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical training and workshops to support upselling.
• Gather client feedback, document feature requests and relay insights to product teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in an analytical or technical role with stakeholder management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with the payments/fintech industry and related regulations.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• API‑based integration methods.
• Front‑end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Payments frameworks: 3DS, SCA, AVS, MIT.
• Compliance standards: PCI‑DSS, PSD2.
