About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Team Truck Drivers for its Alexandria, IN service center. Drivers will operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers, moving freight between service centers and turn‑point locations. Teams work five days on the road and enjoy two days at home each week, with a competitive annual salary of $140,000‑$160,000.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on scheduled routes.
• Transport freight between R+L service centers and designated turn‑point locations.
• Maintain a five‑day on‑road, two‑day home schedule.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition qualification).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
